Mangyeongdae Ridge of Mt. Bukhan (Bukhansan)

Location
Ridge located south from Mt. Bukhan Baegundae, along the mountain fortress in the direction of Yongammun, part of the administrative district of Gyeonggi-do, Goyang-si.
Required time
(from ridge section) 1 team of 4 including beginner: 3 hours, experienced climber 1hour 30 min.
Necessary equipment
1 rope (over 50 m), medium and small spring loaded camming device, 4~5 pieces of quick draw, 2~3 pieces of sling, etc.
Degree of difficulty
Class 5.7, for beginner
Access route
Walk up Wimun from Mt. Bukhan Baegunsanjang to see the sign "do not enter" on your left. Behind the sign next to the gate leads a path. When walking on the path for about 5 min. you will reach the climbing starting point.
Trail
Wimun ~ Mangyeongdae Peak ~ Piano bawi ~ Yongammun (can also be climbed in reverse order)
Trail outline
Mangyeongdae (800m) together with Baegundae (836,5m), and Insubong (810,5m) are peaks of Mt. Bukhan; they consist of granite and provide great possibilities to observe a beautiful view of nature. Due to the facts that this location is convenient for transportation and is in the metropolitan area, it is one of the preferred ridges of manias.
